Addon Domains are domain names that point to subdirectories within your account.
For example: Let us consider that you have hosted example.com
So all your files will be under /public_html/ directory
Now you are adding a new domain test.com as an addon domain.
For adding a addon domain you will have to enter a username and password.
So if you add a addon domain with test as username, a direcory called test will be created under /public_html/ dir of example.com. From now on when ever you type your addon domain name it will point to public_html/test/ directory. You have to upload all the files & folders related to this addon domain under /public_html/test/ directory.
