Running a web site and running a Web 2.0 service is totally different. We have hosted a small Web 2.0 application which counts words, finds typing speed etc. with Hostcats and it has been doing really good. The servers are rarely down and we do have repeat visitors.

When i wanted to host my website i asked some of my friends and they told even though the indian hosting providers are cheap they are not reliable. But after loads of search i found the hostcats as the cheapest hosting provider in india. I planned to give them a shot for a month. During that time i never got a single problem reported by my site visitors about the downtime and or acess issues. The story is more than 10 months old.

When i buy a thing i first see the price and after i have bought the product i check out the after sales support. Host Cats gave me the best support. All my problems were resolved within a day. The last was done within an hour :). The customer support of Host Cats just rock.

Till date my site was down just once. and it was up and working within 40 minutes after the problem was reported.

so if you are a budding web developer or a simple casual developer , then do land up here and make yourself feel at home. don;t go in for lucrative offers from other hosts , they offer lot os space and you cant really use even a mb out of them since their service sucks. hostcats is different and you would surely fall in love with it !
